About VoteHub
VoteHub is a political media organization that aims to provide top-notch, innovative coverage in three key areas: election reporting at a detailed level and in real time, public opinion survey aggregations, and analysis on election results and trends. We are nonpartisan and independent.
Meet the Team
Garrett Herrin, Publisher
Garrett is a GIS analyst and alumnus of the University of Georgia, where he studied Political Science and Geography. As Publisher, he guides VoteHub’s strategic direction and business operations. His work has been featured in Sabato’s Crystal Ball, FiveThirtyEight, and various other media. Originally from coastal Georgia, he is now based in Los Angeles.
Varun Vishwanath, Chief Engineer
Varun leads the Technology Team at VoteHub, which is responsible for election night reporting (ENR) and creating pre- and post-election maps. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech and an engineer by profession. He is based in Atlanta.
Austin Park, Research Director
Austin leads VoteHub’s Research Team and oversees the organization’s written editorial content. He is also the author of VoteHub’s detailed national presidential primary maps. A student at Stanford University, Austin is double-majoring in Mathematics and Political Science.
umichvoter, Communications Director
umichvoter leads the Communications Team at VoteHub, where he is responsible for social engagement and public outreach. An alumnus of the University of Michigan, he is currently attending medical school. His work has been highlighted in the Financial Times in a profile of “online election forecasters.” Contributing pseudonymously, he is originally from Florida and is now based in the New York area.
Luke Wines, Creative Producer
Luke creates graphics, maps, and animations of election data and political events for VoteHub as a member of the Communications Team. He is currently a student at California State University, Long Beach, where he is double-majoring in Political Science and Economics and minoring in Journalism. He is based in Los Angeles.
Will Bradley, Backend Developer
Will is on VoteHub’s Technology Team as a backend developer, where he develops scripts that support ENR efforts. He is currently attending Cornell University, double-majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. Will is originally from Minnesota.
Josh Metcalf, Elections Cartographer
Josh is a key contributor of national precinct GIS data related to the 2024 presidential election. A native of the Boston area, he is currently a student at Santa Clara University in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Connor Brooks, Frontend Developer
Connor is a frontend developer on VoteHub’s Technology Team and the author of the Presidential Election Explorer. He contributes to the development of our desktop application interfaces. A GIS analyst professionally, he is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Johnny Zhang, Elections Analyst
Johnny is on VoteHub’s Research Team, where he conducts original analysis and contributes in-depth articles on elections and voting trends. He is currently attending college as a Mathematics major. He is originally from New Hampshire.
Danny Kaminsky, Technical Contributor
Danny is a technical contributor at VoteHub with extensive professional experience in software development and data science. At VoteHub, he builds our custom websites and backend infrastructure.
